PVSC held an Art Competition recently to highlight and celebrate the artistic talent and creative vision of high school juniors and seniors within the agency’s 48-municipality treatment district. Students were invited to draw, paint or design artwork that depicts their interpretation of how the agency treats wastewater. PVSC received submissions from a significant number of the 88 district schools that were eligible to participate. Prizes were awarded to the three winning artists.  The 1st place winner was Anahi Guzhnay, a junior at Union City High School. The 2nd place winner was June Paget, a junior at McNair Academic High School in Jersey City. The 3rd place winner was Angelina Dela Rosa, a junior at Elmwood Park High School.
